Every year Avery Masonic Lodge holds an Awards Night to recognize its long standing members for their years of service. Last night, Sept 17 2024, we had the honor to recognize:
- John E. Hart – 50 years
- Ward L. Weber – 40 years
- Bruce D. Bergman – 25 years
Worshipful Brother (WB) John E. Hart joined Avery Lodge in 1974 following in his father’s footsteps. In 1980, WB Hart became the Master of Avery Lodge for the ensuing year. After his term as master WB Hart served in several roles before becoming the Secretary of Avery Lodge for 17 years.
WB Hart has been an everlasting presence in Hilliard and an outstanding member of our community. He is a local business owner with a location on Main St. and was an avid martial artist.
